More to Come

Jennifer (The Pearl)

Ahoy Maties! I am sitting here at Da Spot on a beautiful Sunday afternoon as I think about what we have seen since the last post.  WOW!  I have a lot to share.  We left the Abacos and headed to Eleuthera early January after a fabulous visit from Cliff's cousins Scott and Tracee in Hope Town. We are starting our third week in Hatchet Bay, Eleuthera and been having a fabulous time.  We've been balancing boat work and play. The amazing Buccaneer has re- bedded our chain plates, found the illusive vanes in the heat exchanger and has been keeping Kluane ship shape. I've cleaned Kluane top to bottom inside, made some good grub and have had many an adventure hauling laundry!  We are having a great time and looking forward to moving to the Exumas.  Our tentative plan is to make the sail to the Exumas via the Fleming channel on Tuesday- wind and weather willing.

Here is what we have been up to! More on Eleuthera on next post.

Happy New Year!

Jennifer (The Pearl)

Buccaneer and I celebrated New Years Hope Town style!  We reflected on 2012 and realized it was a very busy year, chock- full of change and goodness!  We feel very blessed to have our good health, the wonderful gift of time and travel, the support and love from our families and friends, and opportunity to share in the beauty of all the places we are visiting!

We wish each of you a very Happy New Year!

Love,
The Pearl

Busy morning for the Coast Guards newest member, Buccaneer.
Started off rescuing a cruisers dinghy and then off to a smoking boat!

We went to Marsh Harbour to do errands and sailed back to Hope Town.
A very Happy Captain!  Check out the sails on Kluane!

New Year's Red Chile preparation- YUM!
We spent a wonderful evening with Tanya, Jay, Robert, Lori, Sally and John on Apogee.  The theme was southwestern- enchiladas, calabacitas, guacamole and Coronas!  Sally made us festive hats- can't wait to see these photos go viral!

New friends Robert and Lori- who live in Taos!  Ya, NEW MEXICO!
