Ahoy!
Buccaneer and I made it safely home to ABQ! Upon arrival to the Sunport, we witnessed some very merry mariachis welcoming a family home! Love my SW home! Patti greeted us with her beautiful smile and overflowing energy- mwah!
Life on land is quite a bit different from life on the boat. I need regular reminding that there is a dishwasher, the washer doesn't need quarters and stores are open on Sunday. If you see me with my life vest on while doing errands, please don't think I am crazy!
What have I been up to? I've spring cleaned the airstream and he is sparkling. We've been having a wonderful time visiting with friends, you can't imagine how nice it is to see your beautiful faces. Our first official Mexican meal was with Jeff and Connie at our regular place- we love and missed you both so much. The chile seemed a bit hotter than normal, I think I need to build my endurance back up! Buccaneer has been on his bike and I plan to go on my first tootle today (ya Kelly)! I was able to pop into a WRW team meeting and see many of my cycling peeps. So here is the shameless plug, they are planning a very FUN cycling event- for any women that rides a bike! Hope all the ladies can come! I'm looking forward to seeing more of my cycling peeps and the Schnay family in the next few days. I have a lot to get caught up on.
I'll keep the blog going while we land cruise, so don't forget to check in and see what we are up to!
Much Love,
The Pearl
Many have asked how we store the boat for the summer- she is stripped and on land for hurricane season. |
